Ok. Joined Tally and Glint last week. Glint no problems at all. Tally is rapidly losing my confidence.

Since joining, logging on has been a haphazard affair. Sometimes I can log on 6 times in a row on the same day, then after a couple of hours it simply will not recognize the password. Once, after the message “ you have 3 attempts remaining”, I came back to find the app had logged on ??

Since there is no other way to log in other than the app either the app is the problem or it’s the Tally server end. I am using a Google Pixel 6 Pro.

So I joined this group hoping to find that there was a simple answer to this as after three phone calls to Tally customer support we are no further to a solution. Instead I am finding a lot of disgruntled users with similar problems.

So, what is the problem. My AI tells me Tally has failed and is no longer a functioning company and I understand they have had problems but surely something as common as a banking app should not have login problems. So far I have no confidence in Tally to work correctly so I won’t buy any Tally until this is fixed. This has to be fixed soon as I don’t see the point in paying a monthly fee for an empty account.

So does everyone have problems ? or just an unfortunate few

Hi @Paul1

Thanks for reaching out here.

I am sorry you are having this experience, so I can locate your calls and investigate what is happening in more detail. Could you please email support@tallymoney.com and address it to me, saying you are emailing from the community channel, add your full name, email on the account and the reference “App error” so I know it is coming from you.

I will review your calls and come back to you.

Regards

Kris

Unfortunately tally has been riddled with issues for years. They don’t seem to have any full time developers and the one they do have isn’t up to the job.

It is what it is, and it isn’t improving anytime soon based on past performance.

It’s a shame they can’t get the developers, they probably only pick what’s available from Resource Group Holdings as the CEO here is a Non-Executive Chairman over there and no doubt tally pay them a commission. Just my opinion.

Imo it a lifestyle company and the sooner it goes into liquidation the better.

at least then we can offset these losses against CGT
